The corporate mounting process takes your poster and affixes it to a rigid backing (also called a substrate). The mounting process also uses heavy rolling equipment, so the result is perfectly flat with no bubbles.
Foam Core Mounting Services
The most common type of subtrate is called foam core. Foam core is lightweight. The standard thickness of foam core backing is 1/4".
Gator Board Mounting Services
The next most common substrate is Gator Board. It looks a lot like foam core but is a bit heavier and much more rigid. Gator Board will NOT warp. We stock Gator Board in the standard 1/4" thickness.
